173 Valentines Later...

On Monday night we made our Valentines for
Abby and Dallins school class,
All the friends not in their classes...
(don't want anyone to feel unloved on the big day)
Emma and Mommys dance class,
the teachers for the school,
the PTA board,
Family,
& Home and Visiting teachers...
Did we get everyone...
I SURE HOPE SO!
It WAS a lot of fun...As you can tell we went a little crazy and, well, Dallin actually ended up stamping himself in the process.

Our own "Rachel Ray"!

Last night it was me and Memmers at home...
Scott had taken Dallin and his friend Aaron to the Utah Flash basketball game and
Abby was gone babysitting...
I asked Emma what she wanted to do and she expressed her desire to help HER make cookies...
We had so much fun!
The kids came home to fresh sugar cookies to decorate.

Tying the knot!

Dad taught the scouts today how to tie knots...Dallin was excited to learn how as well...So of course, first Dad tied Dallin in knots, then he taught him and he is awesome!
He tied them all night for everyone...
Each of his sisters took turns helping him so he could keep on practicing!
He is now a master of the 2 half hitches and taut-line hitch knots! Way to go buba!

BAM!

Emma is our very own Hannah Montana!
She found Abby's 3D glasses from the Hannah Movie and went around singing
"I 've got the best of both worlds..." and saying Bam! Thats what Mylie says when she puts on her 3D glasses. Emma's first expereince with the camera...as you can tell I was trying to ask her to stop what she was doing!

The Perfect Man...SNOWman!

During Christmas Emma became quite fond of this here snowman...
I decided to put away all of our winter decorations the other day and got in BIG trouble...
This was Emma's PRINCE CHARMING
and she was going to marry him...
Now if you know Emma once she gets something in her head the is NO redirecting it...
sooooo...
we got him back out and she married him!
The funny thing was she wanted pictures and as she posed she would lift her foot up in the classic pose!
I love her and her grand imagination!
Now if we can convince all of our daughters to love snowmen until the real prince charming comes along....when they are 24 years old!!!!!!!!!

We Thank Thee, Oh God, For Our Prophet

What an amazing day and age we are fortunate to live in...
President Thomas S. Monson is a Prophet of God ...
I feel of that truth in my heart...
The spirit bore witness to me that he has been chosen for this time...to lead us...guide us..I will follow his guideance and council. This gospel is true the Lord does know each of us...He knows our needs, our concerns, our joy and our pain. He sustains each of us in our efforts to serve in His kingdom...wether it is nursery leader, sunday school teacher, missionary or the new stake president...He loves us and wants us to be happy..I feel this is true...may the Lord bless us in our righteous doing.

WHAT A TURKEY!

Let's hear ir for the underdogs..GO GIANTS!

Since both Dallin and Dads teams lost and were out of the superbowl, we decided to cheer for the GIANTS...
the underdogs...and they won!
Yeah Team! We had a little party...
Abby made her first 7 layer dip and did a beautiful job!
Dallin and Emma helped make carmel popcorn balls, they were so yummy and they are all gone!
We had so much fun playing in the kitchen together...our kitchen may be small but we gather together there and make many memories!

Each Life That Touches Ours For Good...

I just need to express my testimony to all of my friends and family...
I know that Gordon B. Hinckley was a prophet of God and brought about His work in miraculous ways.
President Hinckley touched everyone...young to old...Having the opportunity to learn and be guided by him has been a blessing in my life. My family has been blessed by following his councils. I loved his love for the work and his appreciation and honor for the women of the church. I believe the best way to honor this great man will be to follow his council and to follow the example of the life he and his sweet wife lived.
May we all love and serve one another with Christlike love.
This is the true gospel of Jesus Christ and I feel His love in my life everyday . May our faith carry on in the way of the Lord.

VICTORY

We did it! We had no cavities...for the first time ever all three walked away cavity free! That is quite an accomplishment for our little family. Dallin has had more surgery on his teeth that we count on our hands and Emma had major surgery last January but it was all pearly whites for these three today!
Then lunch was on Dr. Dehart at
Del Taco! Wahoo! Shows what nagging to brush three times a day can do...
Dallin said and I quote; " Brushing rocks! I don't have to come back and I get a certificate for lunch!" Dallins burger tasted so good to him...
after all nothing tastes better than
Sweet Victory!

I cry the day I take the tree down...for Uncle Jason

The kids and I decided that we would spend the day helping Uncle Jason by putting away their families Christmas. Between Uncle Jason's neck surgery and then his blood clot and Aunt Glenda being pooped from working 12 hour shifts we put our shoulders to the wheel and took it all down.
