OUR TEXAS RANGERS!

TEXAS RANGERS TAKE 3RD!

What a Tournament!!! These boys played their hearts out. They were the bad news bears...we were the littlest team with only 9 players all season! We are so proud of our BUBBA! He was an MVP!
Today it was you play till you loose and then you wereout of the tournament.
They played three games and took 3rd.
Dallin brought home the two winning runs in the first game to win and was the winning run in the second...The Thrid game he was the Target of the entire City officials reffing system as the kid to keep out of the game..He did great but you can't beat a corrupt system.
Dallin is as honest as you get and he got skunked!
If you would like the entire story maybe at a later time when I am not so emotional we will let you know all the garbage of the game.
He still loves the game and wants to play play play! He took it the hardest from his team as tears filled his eyes. You won't find a boy who loves Baseball as much as he does ...I think red dirt is in is blood!
Dallin got the game ball and hasn't put it down.
He shined today!
I don't know how many kids will play baseball in full uniform in 95* weather from 9:00 am till 5:00 and not ONE complaint but I just want to play more ball! I don't want it to be over!

A Little of Everything!

This is where I have been spending my summer days...the school...You think I would have gotten enough of the school after last year! But at least t isn't volunteer. I am getting paid. This was my first hall I finished...scrubbing the sinks, toilets, door frames and carpets, moved to the halls and scrubbed, squeegeed, mopped, stabilized then waxed the floor. Look at that baby shine! I HAVE had a lot of fun working with the three amigos, and have had plenty of laughs. The kids came and spent the mornings with me while Abby was at Math camp the last 2 weeks. One morning they helped me wash the rooms garbage's out. I cleaned them and they lined them up. Can you see their fathers O.C.D. come through at all in D and Em? Dallin actually counted them out first thing to figure out how many to go across so they would come out evenly. Orem Summerfest was a lot of fun. Abby had a booth at the baby contest selling her flowers and I was asked to judge the adorable babes. It was a lot of fun. It was more fun to watch the fretting parents and grandparents. We then went to the parade...Emma was set to go! The crew! We love the parade. we get our spot 48 hours in advance it has been a 14 year tradition and our little group has grown quite a bit! I was thrilled to have Heather with us again this year! A big congrats to her and her scholarship at SUU! Yeah ! Our three favorites were the Miss Orem Float...Of Course! Little Miss Lindon...Abby's very good friend, Callie, is serving as Little Miss Lindon this year. The watering can sprayed bubbles...Sooo cute! The Jack Sparrow float...Way amazing he sounded just like him as he thanked us for coming to the parade! Dallin earned his BOBCAT! He also lead the color guard for the pack meeting! Receiving his bobcat! We are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo proud of him! he has made leaps and bounds this year! At pack meeting they held a Go For the Gold Olympics....the blur is Dallin jumping in the standing long jump! He had a ball.........and Any way it has been busy and I am Looking forward to the next adventures.
My Mom and Dad made it safely to Ireland and are settling in!
And Scott got One more A for his record!
I will keep you posted!
Until then have lovely!

Fathers Day!

I am a bit behind...I have found out that working 40 hours a week and raising a family the way I am used to well...need less to say ...failing! But only 100 hours to go!
I need to say that Scott is the BEST Father! And we love him dearly! Father's Day was hard because we had to say our good-byes to my parents. NOT EASY and I am not doing as well as I thought I would. I know it is a FABULOUS and WONDERFUL thing but I love them and DO miss them. They are in Ireland now and settling in ...I will keep you posted.
Abby and I got permission from the principal at Orem High to go and get Scott a brick form Orem High and and Dallin caught him a tie at the parade and gave it to him.
He wore it even to church. DAD is such a sport!
SCOTT thank you for being the awesome Father you are to our children!
This song is Scott and Bubba's Song!

The Way They LIve!

What an incredible day. In my life I have had the opportunity to see my four brothers be set apart as missionaries and leave our family for 2 years and serve the Lord. The spirit in the room each of those times testified to me the remarkable privilege it is to be a representative for the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Yesterday my parents were set apart as missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to the mission of Dublin Ireland and WOW!
It WAS a call from our Heavenly Father.
As I was getting ready to go attend my parents ward on Sunday I was listening to my favorite Sunday station FM 100 and an amazing song played that touched my heart. It went on to say that it isn't what we have or where we live, the cars we drive or how we cooked,cleaned...ect...but it is how we lived....My mother and father are amazing because of how the live! The live to serve the Lord. They live to serve our family. They live to love and serve the neighbors, friend ...anyone. They are remarkable servants in the kingdom and I can only hope to be a fraction of the good they bring to this world. The people of Ireland will be blessed by the testimonies of Elder and Sister Tolman. We just spent the day together as a family...
The younger grandkids went and pulled all of the snowball flowers off Grandmas snowball bush and made...well....snow!We all ate GREEN mint brownies..I think I ate 10 myself..I was eating food for comfort.Scott sported a flower in his hair. He thought he might strt a new trend for the men around town.Good byes are not my favorite. Chris, Mom and Me! Mimi's will live on....VIA Internet Cam. Holding back the tears was hard...I am still daddy's little girl...I love my dad. and in this picture he had just put a starburst in his mouth...and we started to laugh because we both love...... SUGAR....WE LOVE SUGAR! Yes I am a sugar addict! MY WHOLE LIFE! It was a bitter sweet day and right about now they are finishing their first day at the MTC as missionaires not the branch president! ( did that for the past 3 years.) I love them and miss them and will pray for them and support them 110% Hope you all will as well.
