What an incredible day. In my life I have had the opportunity to see my four brothers be set apart as missionaries and leave our family for 2 years and serve the Lord. The spirit in the room each of those times testified to me the remarkable privilege it is to be a representative for the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Yesterday my parents were set apart as missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to the mission of Dublin Ireland and WOW!
It WAS a call from our Heavenly Father.
As I was getting ready to go attend my parents ward on Sunday I was listening to my favorite Sunday station FM 100 and an amazing song played that touched my heart. It went on to say that it isn't what we have or where we live, the cars we drive or how we cooked,cleaned...ect...but it is how we lived....My mother and father are amazing because of how the live! The live to serve the Lord. They live to serve our family. They live to love and serve the neighbors, friend ...anyone. They are remarkable servants in the kingdom and I can only hope to be a fraction of the good they bring to this world. The people of Ireland will be blessed by the testimonies of Elder and Sister Tolman.
We just spent the day together as a family...
