Mom's Heart is a Achen'....Again!

I am not normal...That is nothin new..But I hate sending my children off into this scary world! Letting them grow up is the hardest thing I have ever done...The past few weeks I have felt apron strings falling like crazy!
Today I took my baby to the Library for her first very OWN big girl library card! She was Ecstatic and you should have seen how big she felt as my heart ached for her to need me to check her books out...But she could do it!!!! And needed NO help from mom!
Dallin began 4th grade! AHHHHHH! Needless to say he HATED me fussing over him and taking pictures at school in front of his new room...He just needed me to leave so he could see his buddies! My heart broke again..but...AS I stood heart broken outside of his new " home" for the year I watched him pull out his chair and sit down and leaned just enough forward to see if I was still their and smiled and waved a sweet little wave to his mommy!
Heart a little mended...But.... I sent this one to Jr high as an 8th grader! NOOOOO! She was way to excited! I will just start bawling if I even start to write down my current feeling on my roo roo being big!!!!!!Sigh.............................................................................. These 2 are having the time of there life this year, as the managed to get the councilors to rearrange their schedules so the have 5 classes together and both lunches! Forever Friends!!!! Each day is a new adventure in a child's life Although the monumental events are unforgettable, some of the simplest are the ones we remember the most, the ones that make us smile and cry! Capture those moments! For the moms who think diapers seem endless or sleepless nights seem to be taken your life away....savor...Soon they are grown and starting their own wonderful world and all you can remember is how you couldn't wait for them to walk! Abby, Dallin, Emma! I LOVE YOU!

Ever So Emma...She is FINALLY 5!

Emma We ABSOLUTELY ADORE YOU!
Happy Birthday!
She has been waiting forever to turn the big 5 and is SO excited to go and be big and get her OWN library card!
She Loves Fancy Nancy so we had her celebrations around the fancy theme.
For those who know our Princess it fits her to the T!!!!!!!!
She is as fancy as it gets! She also loves the Little Miss and Mr. Men books ,
so when Abby and I saw this shirt we HAD to get it...
When EMma was little...she would put her hands by her face and wave and say "sunshine".... This kiss is for Grandma and Grandpa in Ireland... She LOVED her princess package!!!!!! This cake ...has a story...three hours....had a third layer....Emma's princess hands .... could not resist ... over it tipped.....
Happy Birthday Princess...We love you SOOOOOOOOOOO much.
We are so blessed to have you in our home!
Thank you for choosing us!
Your sweet and royal presence in our home makes us better and reminds
us to reach for the stars!
We hope this year is amazing and all of your wishes come true!!!!!!
Smoochers and Luvs ( That's Emma's words for hugs and kisses!)

Girls Having Fun!

Emma wanted to invite her friends over for a T Party and and so Abby helped her make invites and had the place all ready with treats and all... Her fabulous friends! Our Little cousin Makayla spent the night and we did all sorts of girly things...doing sparkly toes was so much fun!
My girly fun was building this for our little "pre school class room"...Saw the idearer here and found an old cork board we weren't using and went to town...Not perfect but I had a lot of fun creating it and it still serves as a cork board....

The ONLY Time RED can RULE!

Scott and I with our partner team members The W'S participated in an "Amazing Race " Saturday....
WE WON!!!! YEA US!
We were the red team and decided in honor of our win we would all wear red to church Sunday to celebrate ...only it was understood that we were and are still true blue to the core!
Way to go Red Team! Again I am gonna let the writter in the family tell the story of the race so watch for details to come on
I am just gonna say...I am grateful to be alive...
