Oh my goodness, this year has flown by...Abby competed in her final year, in the Elementary Division, on her schools Knowledge Bowl Team. The subject was Science. They have been studying and meeting as a team since last October and the tournament took place last Saturday.
The team did really well! They won 2 rounds, lost one by 5 points and well one they got killed due to a very smart young man from Hillcrest who could answer the question before the moderator even finished asking the question...so we just sat back and enjoyed. We did squeak 65 points past him though.
Way to go Abby!
It is a great thing to set a goal, go forward, work and accomplish!
