MY Supergirl!

A couple of weeks ago Abby was so excited that on September 12 the Jr. high was having superhero day and they were going to be able to dress up as there favorite superhero's. I asked her if she was going to...
(didn't know if it was cool or not)...
without hesitation she said"YES!"
I asked her who she was going to be and she replied...
"you mom...I am going to be Supermom!"
You can only imagine what I felt. So here she is this morning off to school as Supermom...she wore my apron, rubber gloves, my PTA badge, and a big MOM on her forehead. I only wish I really was supermom and had super powers.
Abby I adore you!

We keep going and going and going......

This past weekend was the Women's Expo at UVU...It is Glenda , Me and the girls tradition to go...We have so much fun..They have a tons of great booths that are totally girly and crafty!( Stephanie where was your stuff?!)
Emma and I started dance this Monday...I love working with her..It is great time for us! She has improved dramatically since last year! Yeah Babe! Last night for FHE we made peach jam...considering our peach tree decided it was done taking care of them and dropped them all at once...we made jam! They each took turns loading the bowl up with peaches...
Yummm...the sad thing is that we usually throw away close to 300 peaches or more each year...we have a great tree...Look at those delectables... So if you pass by pick some ...PLEASE...
Dallin as you have read ...loves to cook...so he of course had to stir... they kids wanted homemade bread to go with the jam...Of course Abby said she didn't want "counterfeit bread" ( for those of you who heard regional conference) So I did...they love the dough because it has no eggs in it... End result...Peach Freezer Jam and not nearly enough from that many peaches... Today was my first day with our group of Joy School Monkeys...They really did great! We learned about decisions and this was one...They could choose a circle to color or a rectangle...From our treats to our activities everything had a decision...I really did have a great time...They are so full of life! I love it! The cutest is when we sang the song about decisions and they only sang the word "decisions" because it says it like 30 times in the song! If you have noticed Dad is no where to be seen...He has started back to school,
so picture him sitting at his laptop studying!
We love you babe...rock those classes!

14 Years...Who knew!?!

Hey babe Happy Anniversary!
It has been 14 years ...I CAN NOT believe it!
Some days it seems like we hardly know each other and other days
I can't remember life without you!
It has been such an adventure!
We have done some incredible things...3 come to mind!
Even though we have had our bumps in the road,
we are stronger together because of them!
I want to hold your hand from here to forever!
Always remember that the heavens smiled upon us the day we were married
as we witnessed our own special wedding doves.
JUST FOR US!
Everything I do , I do for you...and now OUR three monkeys!
I LVOE YOU...yours forvever...SB ( think big black marker)

Lador Day Weekend Posted After Labor Week

We did have a great weekend...Scott bought him and the older two season tickets to the BYU football games. They had the best time! Rah Rah Rah! So Saturday was the first home game and they went and had the best time..they went and all got BYU shirts....
Yes even "Ornery" got one... and he did the wave and everything! They have great seats. Right on the 48 yard line! Go Blue!
Dallin turned out to be the lucky one of the day..In that entire stadium one of his good little buddies walked in and sits three rows down...He knew his friend had tickets as well, but goodness, that is about as good as it gets...your dad, your sis, a hot dog, a football shirt, at a BYU game and a buddie close by.Sunday Afternoon Scott and I took off to our favorite place...Johnson Mill in Midway....It is gorgeous and because it was rainy..It was even more so. When we arrived there was no where to park...Come to find out the owner was having a family Sunday get together...For the High School Musical fans..The owner is Troy Bolton's father in the show...He was there with the entire family....They were very kind and apologized knowing that we were there for a quiet get a way....Our room was perfect...Right off the pond and water wheel... Scott loved the skis in the corner...I was just thrilled to be somewhere I didn't have one thing I could clean...email or phone to answer...or knock at the door... It WAS COLD but like I said gorgeous... When we first got there we took a canoe ride...It is the best way to relax... The water fall off the back of the Mill... The deck we would have had breakfast....but it was raining so we ate in the dining room.Every couple should go and listen to the falls at Johnson Mill. we love it there and it isn't far away..but it feels like it! Pus they make you homemade cookies at night...YUMMMMM! Over the weekend I saw this cute crayon holder in Utah Valley Magazine and decided to make on for Emma for her church bag...you know so they don't roll of the bench under the feet in front of you...Abby wanted one for her backpack and so this is how they turned out...Kind of Fun! All in all it is Friday and the week end WAS NOT long enough and real world has set in. I have lost my mind, my forgetter is working and we haven't even started dance yet! AHHHHHHHHHHH! Oh and the kitchen sink is KAPUT! Life goes on and I am off to more well just more!

They will SURVIVE .... Best wishes!

Last week we had the great privilege of spending the evening with a hero of ours. Kristy has endured a horrific war with cancer. It pulls my heart strings to even think of all she has had to endure and endured it like a war hero. Well she finished her final treatment last week. Of course we had to celebrate!
Here she is with her hubby! Our SUPERWOMAN Kristy! Her sister Lori went through the same surgeries to last Tuesday. Her mother emailed this....
Her surgery went well, although horrendous. 3 major surgeries in one stint (5 hrs.)!!!She didn't get to her room until 6:30pm Tues. I stayed on until the wee hours, to be sure she was with it enough to push her call button She's having lots of misery from the pectoral muscles they lifted to put in the expander's for her re-construction. (I hope she's going to be happy that she's chosen that route. It's Chinese torture & not a permanent fix.) Most everyone I've known has been back 1-2-3- times for a tune up surgery! Les is in picking her up now. Insurance gave her 2 nights for all that! I think it's barbaric, but they don't ever ask me! Thank you for your prayers, love & concern. You're the best. I love you, Peggy

Her Dad and Kristy!

US!

Grandpa Dan and Linda...It was nice to see them.
It has been a couple...
years.

Abby and Hannie...

Jeffanie...

Our Big Bad WOLF and Dumb and Dumber?

Dallin has been working like crazy...He has wanted to earn his wolf since the second he turned eight. He was disappointed when he didn't earn it at the same time he earned his Bobcat...Well he did it. Tonight he earned it and he still has 7 months to go until he becomes a Bear so now he is earning his points.
He pinned the pin on moms ribbon... And mom got her hug.

We luv our bid bad wolf man!

They played water games outside and Emma of course had a great time with Diana. But the greatest part of the evening was...

Dumb and Dumber!

Scott and Kevin! This was great. Kevin came late and was in his suit. He realized he and Scott had the same shirt...He asked me to stall and he ran home and changed into the same outfit as his buddy! What a trooper Scott was...Anyone who knows Scott...He hates to even be in the same color sceam with anyone he might know...So amazingly enough he laughed along and we all enjoyed our evening smores with....

Scott and Kevin...but it was really only about ...Kevin!(MOAB)

Oakley thought it was weird that the guy had the same shirt as his dad....Scott was pleased to be the thinner of the two...But they both at the same time said they were wearing the wrong stripe ...it needed to run the other way to be slimming and then they agreed it was sad they both knew that!

Oh what fun!
