Phase 3 and Update from Shalom

Phase 3Scott and Emma worked hard digging the post holes today!
Emma thought it was fun to climb into the hole!
This is the stubborn roots of the rose of Sharon.... The Boyz hauling in all the posts....

The placement of the first posts...It IS happening...Scott just came in from picking things u[p for the night and said the most awesome thing is you can't see anything from the sidewalk! Yeah! Privacy ...hear we come!

Update from Shalom...Abby is sleeping with bats...YES! real bats at the top of her cabin....But the priesthood leaders said that she is a brave little solider.

Phase 2 and Princess Trooper

Phase 2 of the fence...getting the roots out! Uncle Tyler came and used his truck to yank them out. Only 1 gave way! The others aren't giving in that easy!

Dallin and Emma wanted to make home made soft pretzels....They had fun rolling out the shapes.

I thought they did a GREAT job!

Their tummy's enjoyed the outcome!

Today Emma had to go to the dentist and have some work done...She was a real trooper. She now has a "Princess Crown" on her tooth.

We love our Dr. Dehart. We get to go back in another 10 days to finish....

Emma went dress shopping with Aunt Glenda. She loves to look at dresses. she did not hesitate at all to get in the window and pose with the pretty dresses...Oh Dear!

3 Tears for Mom

Well, she is off! I let her get on the bus to go to camp Shalom.
20 years ago this same week...NO JOKE!...
I went to camp shalom for my first year at camp!
It feels like yesterday!
My baby is growing up and moving on to great things and I am struggling with the thought of running out of time!
Me and two other moms were the only ones left in the parking lot....crying!
Jenela said that time just goes to fast.
She just had a daughter get married this past summer and
she felt like she was just putting her on the bus!
IS IT JUST US!
Does anybody else struggle with letting their babies grow up?
This is SO hard for me... I did let her go!
I hope she has the time of her life! Abby and Skotie! BFF! The First Ward Campers heading off to B.O.O.T. Camp 2008
"Building Our Own Testimony!

Loading up!

Mom sneaking on the bus to snap a picture!

It was comforting to watch her wave through the window until she just couldn't see us any more.

When we got home we found notes to all of us on our pillows and fridge telling us how much she loves us and that she hopes we have a great week....so if I wasn't a basket case and missing her already ... that did me in!

I will survive!

I just adore my babes!

Twas' the night before girls camp & Phase One

We decided to go out for dinner and do our monthly grocery shopping stop since Abby needed a few things so she could leave for camp in the morning.
While we were at Arby's her very good friend Callie and her family came in.
Such cuties!
When we returned home it was time to do the camp hair do.
One that can handle not being washed for the week.
Well because it was so much fun watching big sister get her hair done....

Emma wanted her hair done in a crazy way...so this is what I did.

Last night was PHASE ONE of our fence project!

Scott started moving sprinklers and tree number one came down!

OH WHAT FUN IT!

It has been 6 years in the waiting! Yeah so by the end of next week..only invited guests will be able to see what goes on in the backyard at crazily.

30 Minute Placemat Bag!

This was the funnest bag I have made!
Thanks Breanne.
She found it on Kristens blog
Thanks Girls for this fabulous fun bag!.
I had this place mat hanging around and I thought I would give it a whirl!
It was fun...Of course I had to spruce it up with a flower...Accessorize!
Hope all my crafty girlfriends will give it a try!

It holds my Scriptures and Sunday School Manual PERFECTLY!

Again it took 30 minutes and I used stuff I already had!

I got my ribbon a month ago from

Wal Mart .53 a yard...So for about $3.00 you can make it!

I got may place mat a year ago form Bed Bath and Beyond!Have Fun!

Odds and Ends

This is Dallin playing in his rec league!
While it is fun to watch DALLIN PLAY!
It is the most boring baseball to watch, after playing little league!
In Rec play there are nor rules, no outs and everyone gets up to bat....
EVERY INNING!
But Dallin takes baseball very seriously! He gets them out every time.
He also loves to be the last batter up
so he can make the home run!
He usually makes it all the way home, before the ball even makes it to in feild!

We have found a new use for our Galaxy Star Wars Ship,

Buzz Lightyear Ship

and Dads 33 year old Adventure People Plane.

PET SHOPS!

Emma will play hours with these ships and pets!

Hey, I figure this was money well spent and invested!

To MY Man!

14 years ago...Scott asked me to marry him.
We aren't sure if it was the 10th or the 11th because it was late at night,
in the mountains,
at a single adult overnight er at his family's cabin.
But truthfully it didn't matter!
We were in love had dated 11 long days and knew it was right!
Thanks babe, for asking me to be yours forever or....
to at least think about it!
I LOVE (lvoe) YOU!
P.S. Thanks Steph for snapping a picture for us on the big Engagement Day!

LAGOON 2008

Every year our family , Jason, Glenda , Zach, and Skotie head to Lagoon for Harmon's Days!
It is a tradition that the kids LOVE!
This year my sister Crystal and her family,
Kathrine, Jenea, Nikelle, Brylie, Anni and Ben joined us for the fun!
Harmon's gives us a great deal on tickets for us and our extended family and friends.
They also provide food at a great deal as well!
One of the favorite things the kids love is... Getting their faces painted!
The girls always go and do this! Emma got a pony...of course! Brylie a bee, Abby got a star with an "A" and Skotie got a flower vine. the clowns do a fantastic job! Emma and Cami got princess' on their arms! Cutie Bugs! Emma's favorite ride was the whales...She rode them at least 9 times! Jenea and Emma took a drive int he cars! Out touring the country side! Abby and Skotie went on Cliff Hanger and got soaked! Dallin became the bravest of all this year! He rode every roller coaster ride in the park! His FAVORITE ride was WICKED! He had his hands raised up as high as they could go and a grin from ear to ear! When i went on the Colasses with him he was laughing at me because I was scared to death closing my eyes! The gang on Tide O Wave! Abby and Skoties favorite ride was the Tilt O Whirl! The crowd got involved with their ride as they started counting how many times the got their basket to turn. the crowd chanted together as they reached 75 and finally got stopped by the ride attendant! They were SOOOOOOOOOOOO dizzy when they got off! One of the reasons we love Harmon's Days SOOOOOOO much is because the provide all the watermelon, drinks, brownies, ice cream sandwich's, Popsicle's, and COTTON CANDY you can eat! FREE! Yes! I am a Cotton Candy Junkie and THAT is my favorite part of this day. Saying that I love it is an understatement! I had a least 18! Yes, like I have said I LOVED sugar. I did bring my nifty little toothbrush and brushed between feasting as well as my young monkeys! Yummmmm! Every year the game we like to play is Guess IT! They try to guess your age with in two years. I went over and they guessed 24 and I won this pink Elephant for Em. Scott went and they guessed 35. He won a bangle tiger. Jason they guessed his right on, the big 38! Rattlesnake Rapids is the ride we save for the end of the day. The gang always ALWAYS gets drenched! Mom, Emma, and Dad on the train ride to see the animals. Our final ride of the night was the bumper cars.
I LOVE THE BUM BER CARS!
Something about all the giggles and smiles!
Anyhow we had a great day...the weather was perfect,
the lines were short, and most of all we spent it with loved ones.
Congrats to Annibug! She passed her driver test 90%! Yeah Girl!

FINALLY Summer!

I finished up working on Monday!
Yeah!
The kids were ecstatic!
We spent our "first day of summer" at the pool!
It was so nice to wake up and be with my babies and feed them breakfast!
Last night before Dallin fell asleep he said,
"Mom! I can hardly wait for you to fix me your breakfast made with love...I have missed you!"
WOW!
For a moment my kids appreciated the little things I do for them!
Any how, Emma had been complaining of an owie tooth and we took her to the dentist! Abscessed tooth. OUCH! She is tough as nails that one!
So antibiotics and IBprofin and good as new...well until it wears off and the bear awakes!
