The Last 24 Hours!

This is what I wrote...
My Sweetheart Abby is going to Jr. High! She is AMAZING!She rises above and beyond what any mom could ask for. This summer I went to work to help out...Dad went back to school for his masters. She spent her summer...willingly... taking care of her younger brother and sister. Not to mention keeping the house straight, helping them with the summer chores and workbooks, reading them stories, walked them to and from the library and summer movies. She is a doll and a the best friend. She went to girls camp this summer and we all missed her! Nieca I cry every year when I drop them off at school...It is soooooooooo hard to let them grow up. "Let them be little!" After putting her on the bus and waving good bye, we came home and found little notes on all of our pillows. She left them for us with words of luv and kisses! She started her own business to pay for her dance camp and other activities this summer...Abbys Attic. She sells hair flower clips and bows. She made over $500.00, and that was after paying for her supplies. She is working on a girls apron pattern for fall. She loves life and she brings sunshine in to anyone's life just being near her.I am so fortunate to have been blessed to be HER mother! Please grant her this special time to begin this new chapter in her life...SHE DE"SERVE"S IT
Can I say that I am exhausted! I think I was more nervous for ABBY THAN SHE WAS! I had no idea what they had planned for her hair..but I was so pleased with the decisions they made and how brilliant Matthew and Dallan were. They were so fun and so good with Ab! They talked with her and laughed with her and really spent time with her.... 2 HOURS! She had the best time.
Abby getting her hair glossed in a honey brown... Drying her hair before the cut.... In the mean time Dallin got his hair cut....
And Dad and Emma had a nap! The next morning ...Hair and makeup to get ready for the show... the green room.... Abby having the time of her life! Right before her segment wit Heather and Tyson.Dallin getting his own fun with Angel...Tasting the yummy recipe! LUCKY BOY! Abby on the show!
All of us with the girls...Abby looks like she belongs.DALLIN AND EMMA AND THEIR LAST SUMMER POPSICLE.

Zach helping Abby figure out her locker after school on sevey day.

I can not tell you how much today meant for me. Abby has been incredible this summer and this was a real reward for her. She deserved every bit of it. Also I got to meet my favorite girls. On the way home Dallin commented on how it seemed like they were our best friends...well we watch them most days and we spend that time together me and the kids...we do the crafted, the cooking and talk about the things they do...They are our friend sand they were so nice to us and said the nicest things to Abby...As we left they even hollered out to us that I should come and guest host...we shall see...after all I have a lot of spare time...I could swing it.

I came across this game on my cousins blog and decided it would be fun! So play along if you want to! 1. Add a comment on my blog. Leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! 2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. I am anxious to hear your responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments...

A is for Apron!

At Joy School meeting on Wednesday, Jenny let me borrow the MOST amazing and fun apron pattern book she had got.
(She was leaving town for a week...that is why she offered to let me borrow it.)
It had a ton of DARLING aprons.
Abby had a girlfriends birthday to go to on Thursday so...
Jenny this is the one I tried...
I kind of revamped it, making it reversible and used the idea of the scalloped edge's from one of the aprons in the book.
I am going to work on another one this weekend.
I had a ball making this!
Thanks again Jen for departing with this amazing book! The title of the book is...A is for Apron by Nathalie Mornu! Some of you have been wanting me to make you and your girls aprons... So I will get a few made and post them in the next week or "sew"!

She'S HOME!

Abby got home from girls camp on Saturday!
WE were so darn excited for her to be home we waited at the church for an hour before the buses arrived...
We made her this bag as a welcome home surprise!
She always says I make everyone else things and not her, so I made her one!
Missing her was BEYOND words!!!!
But when she got off the bus yelled mom and ran over to me and hugged me as tight as she could(carrying her stuff) she began to SOB...saying...
" MOM i LOVE YOU! i LOVE YOU! I MISSED YOU! i LOVE YOU!"
She didn't let go and had tears streaming down her little cheeks!
That was a moment I will cherish forever!

She loved girls camp and her testimony has begun!

That little woman is a spiritual giant in my eyes!

She WILL accomplish great things!

I am sooooooooooooooooo glad she is home!

She received her first year certification and received the award for the

"Beautifing with Bows" award!

Does this surprise anyone!

She brought everyone little bows for their hair to wear on testimony night! She thought that they might not feel so pretty by friday and wanted to give them all a little something to help them feel pretty!

I HAD NOT ONE THING TO DO WITH THAT! SHE DID IT ALL ON HER VERY LONESOME!

This was a day we went to the pool last week.

I HAD to take a picture to remember the moment!

I asked Emma to get her shoes on so we could go to the pool...

these were the shoes she choose.

I told her those were not shoes for the pool and her response was,
"Mom don't worry I will only be a cowgirl tell we get to the pool then I will take them off and I will be Emma in the water...so you see, I can wear them."
She also wanted to wear a hat like mommy!
What a dolly!
